Seen on the feet of UCLA freshman guard Kiki Rice, Nuggets forward Jeff Green and Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley, the Air Jordan XXXVIII is the latest iteration in the esteemed Air Jordan line.
The debut colourway, dubbed the “Fundamental” is planned to release this summer.
It utilizes a white, black and siren red colour palette and also features construction that’ makes use of 20% recycled materials. Jumpman branding can be seen on the tongues and rear heels and the black portion of the upper that wraps the heel is composed of a lightweight, durable engineered embroidery. The X-Plate features draws its inspiration from the cross straps of the Air Jordan VIII and provides stablility.
Underneath resides full-length Cushlon 3.0 midsole and a full-length Zoom Air strobel as well as a herringbone equipped translucent rubber outsole.
The “Fundamental” Air Jordan XXXVIII is set to debut August 25 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
